Even as summer heat still lingers, LEGO is already getting into the holiday spirit by announcing its first wave of winter-themed sets for the upcoming season! We're excited to bring you details on two charming new additions: the "40494 Polar Bear & Gift Pack" and the "40498 Christmas Penguin," both slated for an October 1, 2021 release.
LEGO 40494 Polar Bear & Gift Pack
Priced at $9.99 USD, featuring 142 pieces, and set for an October 1, 2021 release.
First up is the "Polar Bear & Gift Pack," a delightful set perfect for hanging on your Christmas tree. The adorable brick-built polar bear features a round head and a cute red scarf. The accompanying gift, primarily in red and green, is enhanced by golden-patterned stickers, adding to the festive atmosphere. A charming detail allows you to write a personalized message, indicating who the gift is for.
LEGO 40498 Christmas Penguin
Priced at $14.99 USD, with 244 pieces, also arriving on October 1, 2021.
Next, we have the "Christmas Penguin," a fantastic build that makes for an exquisite desktop decoration or a thoughtful gift. This brick-built penguin, complete with a miniature Christmas tree and a small gift box, stands on a snow-themed, curved display base. The entire piece feels highly complete and polished, and the penguin's wings even feature simple articulation, adding a touch of poseability.
