Following their releases of Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness, Good Smile Company's affordable POP UP PARADE figure line has announced its latest product from "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!": the POP UP PARADE Megumin Swimsuit Ver.! This non-scale PVC painted figure is priced at 3,900 JPY and is slated for a December 2021 release.
Megumin is the number one magical genius of the Crimson Demon Clan. A flat-chested girl from an impoverished family, she dreams of becoming a great Arch Wizard. She suffers from a severe case of "chuunibyou" (8th-grader syndrome), inexplicably wrapping parts of her body in bandages despite being uninjured. As an obsessive fanatic of Explosion Magic, she has poured all of her skill points into this single spell—despite being a high-level Arch Wizard—and feels compelled to cast it once every day.
The POP UP PARADE Megumin Swimsuit Ver. stands approximately 170mm tall, capturing her youthful swimsuit look from the series. She's dressed in a black, frilled bikini accented with red ribbons, proudly showing off her flat chest and signature bandaged leg. Her charming, cat-like smile and the popsicle (made with translucent parts) in her hand perfectly create a fun summer vibe. Her dynamic pose seems to invite collectors to enjoy the season with her—even if she isn't scheduled to ship until December!
