BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS, a division known for its popular S.H.Figuarts collectible action figure line, has announced the latest release from "Ultraman Z": the "Special Airborne Armor Unit 3 King Joe STORAGE Custom," slated for March 2022.
This formidable anti-monster weapon was rebuilt by the Earth Defense Force's Japan branch, utilizing salvaged remnants of the Space Robot King Joe and integrating STORAGE's cutting-edge technology. Powered by a new Pedanium Engine, it boasts several times the performance of its predecessors, featuring a powerful "750mm Pedanium Particle Cannon" on its right arm. Unit 3 can transform into three modes—Robot, Tank, and Separation—allowing for versatile tactical deployment.
The "S.H.Figuarts Special Airborne Armor Unit 3 King Joe STORAGE Custom" is meticulously supervised by Tsuburaya Productions' LSS sculpting division, faithfully recreating Unit 3's robotic form as seen in the series. The figure features its distinctive heavy armor design and intricate color details, with blue clear parts used for the head and chest to reveal the internal mechanical structure. It also includes interchangeable left arm parts to replicate its "Pedanium Hammer" weapon.
