Japanese toy company Megahouse (株式会社メガハウス) is set to release a new lineup in its PETITRAMA (プチラマ) miniature diorama series. This collection, themed after the hugely popular anime "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World," is called the "Re: Memory Box" diorama figures. Featuring four distinct designs, each figure will be priced at 900 JPY and is slated for release in late December 2021!
The first wave of "Re: Memory Box" figures for "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World" recreates classic scenes from the series in a palm-sized format, standing approximately 90mm tall. The initial lineup includes fan-favorite characters: Emilia, Rem (depicted kicking the Ulgarm), "Sloth" Betelgeuse, and a scene from the White Whale Battle. Beyond the meticulously sculpted and dynamic character poses, the diorama bases are also intricately designed. However, collectors often note that while the official promotional images for this series are stunning, the final product's intricate details and paint application can sometimes fall short of expectations (though the diorama elements themselves remain a strong selling point). Discerning collectors are advised to consider this prior to purchase.
