The LEGO Group and Nintendo have once again teamed up to deliver an exciting new addition to the "LEGO Super Mario" series. Yesterday, they officially unveiled the "LEGO 71395 Super Mario 64 Question Block", a special release commemorating the 25th anniversary of the iconic "Super Mario 64" game! This highly anticipated set is slated for release on October 1, 2021.
Comprising 2064 pieces, this impressive set builds into a large, approximately 18 cm (7 inches) cube – a faithful recreation of one of the most recognizable elements from the Super Mario universe. But the magic doesn't stop there! Builders can ingeniously unfold the block to reveal four classic "Super Mario 64" levels hidden within: Peach's Castle, Bob-omb Battlefield, Cool, Cool Mountain, and Lethal Lava Land. These micro-scale scenes are meticulously designed to capture the essence of the game's original visuals, showcasing brilliant spatial engineering and intricate interlocking mechanisms.
Beyond the captivating environments, the set also includes several micro-scale brick-built characters, such as Mario, Princess Peach, King Bob-omb, Chain Chomp, and a Penguin. For those who already own the Mario or Luigi Starter Courses, this set offers even more interactive play possibilities, allowing you to search for hidden Power Stars and unlock additional adventures!
