KADOKAWA's figure brand KDcolle is set to release a 1/7 scale figure of "Kurumi Tokisaki Oiran Ver." based on the spin-off series "Date A Bullet: Akahime Shinshō." Priced at 22,000 JPY, the figure is slated for a March 2022 release.
"Kurumi Tokisaki," a fan-favorite character from Kōshi Tachibana's popular light novel series "Date A Live," is the third Spirit introduced in the franchise, with her name derived from the Sefirot of the Kabbalah Tree of Life. Known as the "Worst Spirit," Kurumi possesses the ability to manipulate shadows and time, and can create clones to bolster her combat prowess. Her left eye, typically hidden by her bangs, is a golden clock-like pupil that rotates when she activates her power, Zafkiel (刻刻帝).
She takes on the role of the protagonist in the spin-off novel "Date A Bullet: Akahime Shinshō," which follows a memory-lost Kurumi after she falls into the Neighboring World, alongside the "quasi-Spirit" Hibiki Higoromo.
The "KDcolle Kurumi Tokisaki Oiran Ver." 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 24 cm tall, faithfully recreating Kurumi's stunning appearance in a gorgeous, elaborate oiran outfit. Her blushing cheeks and gentle smile perfectly complement the boldly open red and black kimono, revealing her fair chest, embodying a charming yet devilish allure. The costume features metallic painted cat and flowing water patterns, adding to its luxurious texture. Beneath her elaborate hair ornaments, her flowing hair tips elegantly echo the sweeping hem of her kimono, beautifully showcasing her thighs! Furthermore, a long rifle is subtly hidden behind her oiran pose, hinting at her explosive, battle-ready style and capturing Kurumi's mysterious, wild, and adorably contrasting personality.
