TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS, is set to release new figures under its non-articulated "Figuarts ZERO" brand, inspired by Eiichiro Oda's "The Great Pirates 100 Views" illustration. This article brings you the product information for the Roronoa Zoro figure, scheduled for release in March 2022.
"The Great Pirates 100 Views" is a magnificent celebratory illustration by Oda-sensei, featuring the top 50 characters from the first "ONE PIECE" "World Top 100" global character popularity poll. Zoro, the Straw Hats' vice-captain, secured the second spot in popularity, just behind Luffy. This figure, standing approximately 17 cm tall, faithfully recreates Zoro's black suit from "The Great Pirates 100 Views" artwork. His pose, holding "Sandai Kitetsu" with "Enma" poised to be drawn, is incredibly striking. From the sculpted chest muscles and the intricate wrinkles of his clothing to the meticulous details of his three swords, every aspect is thoroughly depicted. The base, a pile of gold coins, even includes a skull, perfectly evoking the adventurous spirit of the Great Pirate Era.
▼ Luffy, Zoro, and Nami secured the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd spots respectively in the WT100 poll. We're eager to see more characters from this lineup get the figure treatment!
