Fellow collectors, do you remember Bandai's "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G" mobile game? It's been nearly three years since the game was first revealed, and aside from a few Gunpla releases, there's been no word on its launch. But finally, today (the 15th), Bandai Namco has confirmed that "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G" will arrive in Spring 2022, alongside a special anime for "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans."
The "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G" mobile game brings together the original production team from the TV anime series, integrating the original story into the game to allow players to re-experience the rich worldview of "Iron-Blooded Orphans." It also features a brand-new side story, "Urthr Hunt," which depicts events on a Venusian colony in P.D. 323, introducing new characters and mobile suits like the Gundam Hajiroboshi!
Coinciding with the game's release, a 9-episode "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" special anime will also broadcast on Japanese TV channels in Spring 2022. While the content is currently unconfirmed, it is likely to be a re-edited compilation of footage from the TV anime and in-game animations.
