BANDAI SPIRITS' BANPRESTO prize figure brand, known for its "G×materia" series that recreates iconic special moves with dynamic effect parts, is back with a new release after figures like Frieza and Yamcha. Get ready for "Dragon Ball Z G×materia THE KRILLIN," slated for a March 2022 release!
An important character who debuted early in "Dragon Ball," Krillin (クリリン) is famously one of creator Akira Toriyama's favorite warriors and is often considered the strongest Earthling (up until the Majin Buu Saga in the original manga). He's been Goku's training partner and best friend since childhood, always recognizable by his bald head and lack of a nose. Later in the story, he marries Android 18 and has a daughter, Marron, cementing his status among fans as the ultimate winner in life.
This "G×materia Krillin" prize figure features a rare depiction of Krillin wearing a Saiyan Battle Suit. True to the series' style, it dynamically recreates Krillin unleashing his most powerful special move, the Kienzan, using translucent parts with glitter. His gritted teeth and fierce expression are meticulously sculpted, as are the battle-damaged details on his torn abdomen. Notably, a display stand supports Krillin in a mid-air, action-packed pose, while the Kienzan effect part also comes with its own small, clear stand, allowing for flexible display options separate from the main figure.
