Following the broadcast of the final episode of the "SD Gundam World Heroes" anime, Bandai immediately announced a brand-new spinoff project focusing on the "Knight World." Alongside this reveal, details for the protagonist's model kit, "SDW HEROES Knight Strike Gundam," were unveiled, with an anticipated release in February 2022.
The spinoff project will center on the "Knight World," one of the many realms featured in "SD Gundam World Heroes." It will depict the coming-of-age story of the protagonist, Knight Strike Gundam, as he undergoes various trials and confronts threats lurking within the Knight World. This new generation Knight Gundam is based on the Strike Gundam, the main mobile suit from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED."
The "SDW HEROES Knight Strike Gundam" design seamlessly blends existing elements of classic Knight Gundam aesthetics with the fresh designs of the "SD Gundam World" series. Its parts feature rich embossed patterns and utilize numerous clear components to achieve highly detailed textures. Even its greatsword weapon incorporates iconic Knight Gundam imagery.
