BANDAI GASHAPON Unleashes "Turtle 05" Eco-Capsule Toy Series, Featuring Intricate Leopard Tortoise Patterns!

Bandai's Gashapon division, known for its popular animal capsule toy series, including "Turtle," "Turtle 02," "Turtle 03," and "Turtle 04," is now set to release the highly anticipated fifth installment: "Turtle 05" (Kame 05). This new wave brings a whole new lineup of turtles for collectors! The series features five different types, each retailing for 500 JPY, and is scheduled for release in the fifth week of September 2021.

The "Gashapon Turtle Series" is designed as an eco-friendly capsule toy, eliminating the traditional plastic shell. This innovative approach allows for larger figures, as the turtle shell itself acts as the capsule. Each figure boasts a substantial 10 cm size, faithfully reproducing the turtle's appearance and meticulously recreating its skeletal structure. The design incorporates articulation that allows the turtle's limbs and head to fully retract into its shell!

The fifth installment, "Turtle 05," spotlights the Leopard Tortoise, renowned for its intricate and detailed shell patterns. This wave features the Leopard Tortoise (Adult), Leucistic Leopard Tortoise (Adult), Leopard Tortoise (Juvenile), Leucistic Leopard Tortoise (Juvenile), and the highly popular Alligator Snapping Turtle (Golden) from the series. Beyond accurately capturing the Leopard Tortoise's high, domed, and humped carapace, the main highlight is the distinct black spots and unique patterns on its shell! Additionally, the juvenile figures charmingly feature the un-spread reddish-brown circular patterns on their scutes and their adorable, petite forms. Continuing the series' signature articulation, the limbs and tail can fully retract into the shell!
