After three years on the market, Bandai Candy's popular "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME" Shokugan series is getting a major upgrade with the newly announced "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA," set to launch its first wave in February 2022.
The "FA" in the new "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA" product name stands for "Full Armor," a direct reference to the significant improvements made to the figure's design. The arms and rear thighs have been redesigned with enhanced armor coverage, while the previous rear knee armor connection structure has been removed, resulting in a silhouette that more closely matches the original anime designs. Additionally, the chest armor is now more secure and less prone to detaching, and the waist joints are easier to reattach after separation. However, due to rising production costs, the limb frames will now come on a runner, allowing collectors to easily detach parts by hand.
The first wave of "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA" will continue the established format of selling the articulated frame and armor sets separately. This initial lineup features four iconic mobile suits: Freedom Gundam, Duel Gundam Assault Shroud, Gundam NT-1 Alex, and Nu Gundam.

Based on the previously released G-FRAME version, this Nu Gundam features improved backpack, rear armor, and frame specifications, allowing it to recreate its iconic "Double Fin Funnel" configuration.
