Japanese figure manufacturer FREEing revealed the painted prototype for their latest 1/4 scale large-size character figure, "Kyojuro Rengoku," from their "B-style" line. The reveal took place at the "WONDERFUL HOBBY LIFE FOR YOU!! 34" new product exhibition held last Saturday (02). A release date is yet to be determined.
Kyojuro Rengoku, whose popularity surged with the release of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train," is the "Flame Hashira," the highest-ranking swordsman in the Demon Slayer Corps and a master of "Flame Breathing." He possesses an optimistic and cheerful personality, always wearing a smile as if fueled by endless passion. Despite hailing from a prestigious family that practiced Flame Breathing for generations, his father lost hope after his mother's death. Kyojuro, through self-taught rigorous training, became the Flame Hashira. With immense swordsmanship talent and countless trials, his charismatic leadership earned him the deep trust of the entire Demon Slayer Corps.
The "B-style Kyojuro Rengoku 1/4 Scale Figure" immortalizes the iconic scene where the "Big Brother" (Kyojuro), despite losing his left eye and suffering severe injuries, continues to battle Akaza while unleashing his Flame Breathing. This large-scale sculpt captures his blood-splattered face and dynamic pose as he wields his Nichirin Blade, complemented by massive, elaborate flame effect parts. The entire piece stands over 70cm tall, allowing fans to experience this legendary scene from the series with maximum impact!
