The renowned poster design and toy company MONDO is expanding its new "GODZILLA MUSEUM" series with another exciting release: the "Godzilla: Attack Peter" statue. Following the "Godzilla - The Animated Series" entry, this new collectible is limited to just 2,000 pieces and is currently available for pre-order on MONDO's official website, with an estimated shipping date in Summer 2022.
Miami-based artist Attack Peter (Peter Santa-Maria) is celebrated for his dynamic relief prints, which often feature elements of pop culture, superheroes, and monsters. Deeply influenced by traditional Thai imagery, his work boasts a powerful style, brimming with mysterious and exotic lines. The stark black and white contrast in his pieces delivers a truly unique visual impact.
The "GODZILLA MUSEUM Godzilla: Attack Peter" statue is personally designed by Attack Peter, bringing his distinctive print-style Godzilla to life in three dimensions. Standing approximately 8.25" (20.96cm) tall, the figure showcases Godzilla's iconic head, dorsal fins, long tail, and powerful thighs with vivid black and white contrast. It faithfully replicates the aesthetic of a relief print, retaining the white (concave) lines of the carving while rendering the dense black ink (convex) areas. This meticulous design creates a unique visual effect, making the statue appear almost two-dimensional from every angle.
