SEGA PRIZE, the popular prize figure brand from Japanese game company SEGA, is set to release a new "Shikinami Asuka Langley" Super Premium (SPM) Figure. Based on the blockbuster film "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," this highly anticipated collectible is slated for a February 2022 debut!
In the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series, Shikinami Asuka Langley (式波・アスカ・ラングレー) is affected by the "Curse of EVA," which keeps her body perpetually at 14 years old. Sporting a black eyepatch over her left eye, Asuka joins Misato Katsuragi's anti-NERV organization, WILLE, as the pilot of Evangelion Unit-02' Beta, engaging in fierce battles to eradicate NERV's Evangelions as the story unfolds.
The "SPM Shikinami Asuka Langley" prize figure stands approximately 23 cm tall, dynamically sculpted with Asuka striking a powerful pose, one foot resting on a rock. Her signature hands-on-hips stance, combined with her stern, eyepatch-wearing expression, perfectly captures Asuka's resolute personality. While the pose itself is static, her vibrant orange hair, sculpted as if caught in a gust of wind behind her, adds a wonderful sense of motion to the overall design. The intricate plugsuit features both glossy and matte finishes, highlighting the different material textures, and clings tightly to her slender frame, beautifully accentuating Asuka's captivating curves.
