Following their previous Asuka release, SEGA's prize figure brand, SEGA PRIZE, is set to launch a new addition to their popular "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" SPM (Super Premium Figure) series: the "Ayanami Rei (Provisional Name)" prize figure. This highly anticipated collectible is scheduled for release in March 2022.
Ayanami Rei (Provisional Name) first appeared in the 2012 film "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo." While sharing an identical appearance with the original Rei Ayanami, she wears a black plugsuit and pilots Evangelion Mark.09. Upon their first encounter, Shinji mistakenly believed her to be the Rei he knew and was overjoyed, but she had no recollection of him. Shinji's poignant declaration, "You're not Rei," led her to question her own existence.
The "SPM Ayanami Rei (Provisional Name)" figure stands approximately 19 cm tall. She is depicted in her black plugsuit, kneeling and leaning against rocky terrain. Maintaining her signature emotionless expression, she exudes her characteristic ethereal charm. Her body is slightly tilted forward, not only showcasing her alluring back and hip curves but also accentuating her bust, which is pressed by her hands in a captivating pose. This figure is truly mesmerizing from every angle!
