Time Studio, specializing in cartoon and semi-realistic action figures, has officially licensed with SNK to release 1/12 scale action figures based on the classic game "Metal Slug 3." The lineup includes "Tarma Roving" and "Marco Rossi." Each figure is priced at 528 RMB and was originally slated for release in the second quarter of 2022.
The popular action-shooter "Metal Slug" series is set against the backdrop of a tumultuous World War II, yet it injects a hefty dose of humor, gags, and quirky elements into its characters, vehicles, and action sequences. This unique blend ensures that even amidst intense gunfire and explosions, the game maintains a strong comedic effect. Its fun and chibi-style designs prevent it from becoming overly bloody, sparking a new wave of action-shooter enthusiasm. "Metal Slug 3" stands out as the last installment produced and published under the SNK name, widely regarded by players as the highest quality, most challenging, and most punishing entry in the series.
Now, the main playable characters from the game are being brought to life as figures! This release features "Marco Rossi," a "PF" squad member who played a crucial role in suppressing the Morden Rebellion, as a 1/12 scale action figure. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, the figure utilizes a newly developed, highly articulated body to capture the character's unique chibi proportions, faithfully recreating the game's iconic cartoon aesthetic. His outfit is meticulously crafted from real fabric, and combined with a wealth of accessories, allows for dynamic posing to recreate various exciting in-game actions. More figures in the series are planned, aiming to complete the "Metal Slug" game scene!

The figure comes with two interchangeable head sculpts (serious and laughing expressions), along with six different hand parts including fists, gun-holding hands, and dagger-holding hands. His white tank top, red vest jacket, backpack, and wrist guards feature weathered paint applications. Accessories include a medal, canteen, walkie-talkie, and a hilarious poop prop. The extensive arsenal of weapons and items includes a pistol, dagger, grenades, an AR-10 automatic rifle, an H-bomb ammo box, and missiles (R-bombs). Plus, there's an awesome H-bomb rapid-fire effect part!
