Following the release of Aerith Gainsborough - Dress Ver., Japanese publisher SQUARE ENIX has today (19th) announced the latest addition to their 1/6 scale PLAY ARTS Kai action figure series: the "Tifa Lockhart - Dress Ver." from "Final Fantasy VII Remake," slated for release in June 2022.
"Final Fantasy VII Remake" reimagined the classic with stunning visuals and fluid combat, powered by modern technology. Gone were the blocky polygon characters of two decades past, replaced by exquisitely realistic models reminiscent of the "Advent Children" film. The beautiful designs of both heroines were also a major highlight of the game. Now, PLAY ARTS Kai is bringing to life Tifa's highly popular short dress outfit, as seen when she infiltrates Don Corneo's mansion in the game.
The "PLAY ARTS Kai Tifa Lockhart - Dress Ver." is crafted in 1/6 scale, standing approximately 25 cm tall. The sculpt meticulously captures Tifa's alluring physique, the dynamic folds of her purple short dress, and intricate details like the lace and knot decorations, all conveying the luxurious texture of the gown. Accessories include multiple interchangeable hand parts and flowing hair pieces, which can be combined with the figure's highly articulated body for dynamic posing.
