Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced a brand-new "Mobile Suit Gundam" themed Shokugan series, "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM," with the first volume slated for an April 2022 release.
The "MOBILITY JOINT GUNDAM" line features popular Mobile Suits from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, rendered in an approximately 3-head-tall proportion. Each figure incorporates a common "MOBILITY JOINT" internal frame, while the exterior armor boasts a high level of intricate detail, differing from the original designs. Once assembled with all parts and stickers, collectors will have a Mobile Suit boasting an impressive 20 points of articulation!
The lineup for the first volume includes the RX-78-2 Gundam, Zeong, Zaku II, and Johnny Ridden's Custom Zaku II. Furthermore, each Mobile Suit comes with a set of "EX Enhanced Parts" for customization. The Gundam can be transformed into the Perfect Gundam from "Plamo-Kyoshiro," the Zeong can evolve into the long-legged Perfect Zeong, and the Zaku II can be upgraded into a heavily armed and thruster-laden High Mobility Type Zaku II!
