Following their successful 2020 collaboration on the original "Plump Animals" series, Japanese capsule toy manufacturer KITAN CLUB and Taiwanese sculptor Huang Po-Hsiang's RBen Studio are back! They're set to release the highly anticipated new collection, "Animal Figure Mascot 2" (Plump Animals Series 2), in February 2022.
A signature of RBen Studio's work is their ability to infuse realistic, intricate details into adorably rounded, plump animal forms. Collectors can once again delight in the charm of these 'chubby as a ball' creatures, rendered in a delightful two-head-tall proportion! The "Animal Figure Mascot 2" lineup features four distinct figures: a Lion, Panda, Gorilla, and Hippopotamus. Each figure, standing approximately 5.6 cm tall, is sculpted with a rich sense of biological realism, while their irresistibly plump bodies convey a profound sense of innocent charm. The hippopotamus's smile, in particular, is incredibly heartwarming!
