Following the successful first, second, and third installments based on the wildly popular mobile game "The Battle Cats," the latest "CAPCHARA The Battle Cats Vol. 4" eco-friendly capsule toy lineup is here. Featuring five distinct designs, each capsule was priced at 300 JPY (tax included) and released in November 2021.
Developed by PONOS Corporation (affectionately known as "P-Corp" by players), "The Battle Cats" is an easy-to-play side-scrolling tower defense mobile game starring a quirky cast of humorous and often absurd cat characters. The game has previously featured numerous collaborations with popular anime and video game franchises, including "Street Fighter V," "Neon Genesis Evangelion," and "Ranma ½," among others. It also boasts a Nintendo Switch version, cementing its widespread popularity.
The fourth wave of "CAPCHARA The Battle Cats Vol. 4" capsule toys continues the eco-friendly design, integrating the capsule itself into the figure. These adorable in-game characters are rendered in sizes ranging from approximately 6 to 10 cm. This lineup features five distinct characters: the antagonist Face (Kaoru-kun), the transparent Glass Cat (Garasu Neko), Mohawk Cat (Neko Mohikan), Dark Cat (Ankoku Neko), and the enthusiastically grooving Cat Fever (Neko Fībā). Each capsule includes simple assembly parts, allowing collectors to transform the capsule into a charming cat figure!
