BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division, a leading Japanese manufacturer, is set to release the latest addition to its popular "Figure-rise Standard" character model kit series: the "Figure-rise Standard Gallantmon" from the "Digimon" franchise. This highly anticipated kit will retail for 2,530 JPY and was originally slated for release in June 2022.
"Gallantmon" is a Holy Knight-type Ultimate Digimon, formed through the fusion of protagonist Takato Matsuki and his partner Guilmon. Clad in super-hard alloy armor and wielding the Holy Lance and Holy Shield, Gallantmon is a revered member of the "Royal Knights," embodying a strong sense of loyalty and chivalry. This unique Digimon utilizes the destructive power of a Virus-type to maintain order, making it an anomalous yet crucial force. Its immense power, if unbalanced, could transform it into an entity capable of destroying the Digital World, a danger symbolized by the "Digital Hazard" mark emblazoned on its chest armor.
The "Figure-rise Standard Gallantmon" model kit meticulously recreates the Digimon's anime appearance. It features a striking silver molded plastic to faithfully reproduce the cool aesthetic of the Holy Lance seen in the series. The intricate engravings and Digital script on the Holy Shield are also carefully rendered. Thanks to its segmented parts, assembly is straightforward, allowing for a satisfying finished product right out of the box! Furthermore, the design incorporates a wide range of articulation in each joint, enabling collectors to pose Gallantmon in dynamic and exciting battle stances.
