Godzilla -0.0 S.H.MonsterArts King Ghidorah (2026) Announced, Prototype Revealed

BANDAI SPIRITS’ TAMASHII NATIONS division has announced that King Ghidorah (2026) from the movie "Godzilla -0.0" will join S.H.MonsterArts, the collector figure line known for its intricately sculpted kaiju and impressive articulation. A release date has yet to be announced.

The latest entry in the Godzilla franchise, "Godzilla -0.0," continues the story of "Godzilla Minus One" two years after Japan’s battle with Godzilla. As the nation struggles through the pain of rebuilding, daily life finally appears to be returning to normal. However, the arrival of another colossal shadow shatters that hard-won hope and plunges humanity into even greater despair.

TAMASHII NATIONS has also shared an early look at the prototype. The sculpt faithfully captures the creature’s wyvern-like stance as it crawls on its massive forelimbs, along with its three long, ferocious heads and the sharp spines running down its back. Carefully engineered articulation helps conceal the joints throughout the body, while the wing membranes on both arms feature multiple overlapping sections. These parts appear designed to move with the forelimb joints as they bend, minimizing interference during posing. The two enormous, slender tails are expected to use the same seamless internal skeleton system previously featured on “Keizer Ghidorah,” preserving the sculpt while allowing them to twist in multiple directions.
