The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, known for its rapid assembly and easy customization, today announced two new mobile suits for the original plastic model series "30 MINUTES MISSIONS", which fully embodies the appeal of mass-production machines. The "30MM 1/144 bEXM-28 Reverunova [Green]" and "30MM 1/144 bEXM-29 Gardonova [Brown]" are scheduled for release in April and May 2022, respectively.
The bEXM-28 Reverunova is a new unit designed by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa. In-universe, it's a heavy mass-production unit belonging to the Byron Army, serving as a general-purpose heavy-armor EXAMACS specification. Its legs, designed to support the thick armor, are the largest in the 30MM series. The bEXM-29 Gardonova, on the other hand, is an outpost attack type specification, featuring unique chest armor and long, articulated giant claws.
The "30MM 1/144 bEXM-28 Reverunova [Green]" recreates its extensive armor and large rifle details with precision parts. Notably, the front skirt armor parts feature articulation, a first for the 30MM series. Meanwhile, the "30MM 1/144 bEXM-29 Gardonova [Brown]" boasts highly articulated foot designs, and its arms can be transformed into different forms by swapping parts.
One of the biggest features of the 30MM series is the universal 3mm joint system found throughout the body. Both the Reverunova and Gardonova can have their parts detached and combined to form an even larger, merged configuration. They can also be freely customized with separately sold 30MM series units to create unique mobile suits!
