BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division has officially announced the latest entry in their "HG (HIGH GRADE)" model kit series: the "HG Super Mashin Ryujinmaru" from the anime "Super Mashin Hero Wataru," slated for release in February 2022. This product will be exclusively available through Bandai's official online store, Premium Bandai.
This new Bandai release features an all-new mold for Super Mashin Ryujinmaru, the Mashin that fought alongside Savior Wataru Ikusabe in the anime. This is Ryujinmaru's strongest and ultimate form, achieved by gathering the power of all the Holy Gods for a super-powered transformation, boasting magnificent colors and a massive, sleek silhouette.
The Super Mashin Ryujinmaru, faithfully recreated in the HG series, boasts incredibly precise color and part separation. Its head and shoulders are assembled from numerous individual parts, allowing for a complete color reproduction with a straight build, with the exception of the red eyes on the shoulder armor's dragon emblem, which require stickers. The gem on the Sword King's Sword is rendered with a three-dimensional jewel sticker.
Inheriting the characteristics of Byakko's (White Tiger) power, the massive tail measures an impressive 25 cm in length. It features a multi-jointed, posable design with an internal metal wire, allowing for free articulation in various directions. The shoulder joints incorporate a pull-out mechanism, further expanding the range of motion for the arms, enabling dynamic poses such as wielding the Sword King's Sword with both hands.
