Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, today announced that the latest addition to their popular die-cast toy series, "METAL BUILD," will be the Providence Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," currently in development.
The ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam is a mobile suit developed by the ZAFT military and piloted by ace pilot Rau Le Creuset, serving as the final boss in the series. This formidable machine is equipped with cutting-edge technologies such as a nuclear engine, Neutron Jammer Canceller, DRAGOON System, G.U.N.D.A.M.COMPLEX, and Phase Shift Armor, boasting top-tier performance for its era. It is capable of devastating all-range attacks using its "Judgment" Large Beam Rifle and 11 DRAGOON System units with multiple beam cannons housed in its disc-shaped backpack.
While details are scarce at the moment, the METAL BUILD Providence Gundam product will be supervised by Satoshi Shigeta, the mechanical animation director for the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" anime, to give this formidable boss mobile suit an even more dynamic and powerful design. In addition to the METAL BUILD series' signature die-cast parts and high-density detailing, the backpack housing the DRAGOON System will also feature an original mechanism unique to this model!
