Following the immensely popular Asuka Shikinami Langley figure, Japanese toy company REVOLVE (株式会社リボルブ) is set to release the "Mari Makinami Illustrious [Last Mission]" 1/7 scale figure, completing the duo!
Debuting in "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," the new "Deep Dive Pressure Suit Prototype Plugsuit" was specially designed for the final battle and worn by both Asuka and Mari. This plugsuit features a white base color accented with iridescent highlights and individual character-specific red and pink lines. As its name suggests, a key feature of the suit is its ability to help the wearer adapt to extreme pressure changes. Fans affectionately refer to it as the "White Plugsuit," while Asuka herself jokingly called it a "shroud" in the film.
Sculpted by Japanese prototype maker Nobuta (のぶた), renowned for his skill in capturing feminine charm, REVOLVE's "Mari Makinami Illustrious [Last Mission] 1/7 Scale Figure" faithfully recreates her appearance in the white plugsuit from the film. Mari is brought to life with a slight chin-up, relaxed smile, and a casual hand-on-hip pose. Her twin-tail hair flows dynamically behind her, creating a fluid and lively silhouette. The slender physique beneath the plugsuit is exquisitely rendered, showcasing not only her waist and leg lines but also sensually sculpted details like her ribs, navel, and glutes.
