BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's division recently announced that its popular ROBOT Damashii (Robot Spirits) line of articulated mecha figures will launch a new series celebrating the 20th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED." The first prototype revealed for this lineup is the "Strike Gundam," with a release date yet to be determined.

The protagonist mobile suit from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, was the last of the five "G-Weapons" developed by the Earth Alliance. Its lightweight armor provides exceptional agility, allowing for human-like mobility, though it heavily relies on its "Phase Shift Armor" for protection. Through the "Striker Pack System," the Strike Gundam can swap between various configurations like the "Aile Striker," "Sword Striker," and "Launcher Striker," enabling it to adapt to diverse missions and combat scenarios, fulfilling its multi-role purpose.

The main body of the ROBOT Damashii Strike Gundam faithfully recreates its anime appearance with precise and refined sculpting. Leveraging the ROBOT Damashii series' extensive experience in articulated joint technology, the figure can flexibly reproduce iconic combat poses. Currently, the only weapons displayed are its two "Armor Schneider" combat knives. It's highly anticipated that various "Striker Packs" will be released in the future, allowing collectors to recreate all of the Strike Gundam's different forms.
