Tsume-Art, the premier Luxembourg-based statue team renowned for their exquisite craftsmanship and elaborate dioramas of Japanese anime characters, is expanding their new "IKIGAI" series! Following the releases of Siegfried of Dubhe Alpha and Gemini Saga, the line will now feature "Saint Seiya" themed 1/6 scale full-body statues of Poseidon IKIGAI and Hades IKIGAI! Shipping is anticipated between Q3 2022 and Q3-Q4 2023.
Hades, the God of the Underworld and ruler of the dead, despairs over humanity's foolishness. To prevent further decline, he seeks to transform Earth into an eternally frozen realm through the "Great Eclipse." Hades was defeated in a brutal Holy War by the previous Athena and sealed away for 243 years before his resurrection. To protect his own beautiful body, he concealed it in Elysium and chose to possess the purest soul of his era, Andromeda Shun. However, he was ultimately saved by Athena's blood.
The "IKIGAI" statue series is designed to capture characters in dynamic, pre-attack poses at a 1/6 scale. The new Hades IKIGAI full-body statue stands an impressive 44 cm tall, 36 cm deep, and 18 cm wide. It masterfully brings to life Hades' resolve to plunge the world into darkness, faithfully recreating his inhumanly pale face and piercing ice-blue eyes, which starkly contrast with his deep black hair. He is clad in his six-winged Fallen Angel Surplice, featuring a subdued gray metallic tone and razor-sharp, blade-like wings that emphasize his status and supremacy as the King of the Underworld. The blood-red gem embedded in his nameless sword perfectly complements the crimson rocky base, exuding an aura of deadly foreboding.

About the IKIGAI Statue Series:
The "IKIGAI" series offers the benefits of a (slightly) reduced price and (slightly) shorter production time. What makes this series truly unique is the distribution method for its "Ultimate Edition." Tsume-Art does not differentiate between the regular and Ultimate versions during sales, and the packaging is identical. Collectors only discover if they're the lucky owner of an Ultimate Edition upon opening their statue! Compared to the regular version, the Ultimate Edition includes additional battle damage details, more elaborate effect parts, and extra weapons.
