Following the releases of the popular "My Hero Academia" themed Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo figures, SEGA's new S-FIRE brand is set to launch its third entry: a 1/8 scale figure of Shoto Todoroki. Priced at ¥21,780 JPY, the figure is scheduled for release in March 2023!
In "My Hero Academia," Shoto Todoroki, the visually striking student from U.A. High School's Class 1-A Hero Course, is the son of the No. 2 Hero "Endeavor" (who became No. 1 after All Might's retirement). He inherited the incredibly powerful "Half-Cold Half-Hot" Quirk from both parents: his mother's side allows him to create ice from his right, while his father's side grants him fire from his left. Raised by his father as a tool to surpass All Might, Shoto developed a strong competitive drive and an aloof personality, initially refusing to use the "fire" power from his left side. However, as the story progresses, Shoto's heart gradually begins to change.
S-FIRE brings Shoto Todoroki to life as a dynamic 1/8 scale figure, standing approximately 190mm (7.5 inches) tall. The sculpt perfectly captures a battle moment where he unleashes his Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk, with roaring flames encircling his left forearm and magnificent ice effects forming around his right foot. Shoto's distinctive red and white hair, sharp gaze, and the intricate folds and shadow painting details of his hero costume are meticulously recreated.
