LEGO officially unveiled its latest "Harry Potter" themed product yesterday (1st), the "76399 Hogwarts Magical Trunk"! This exciting new set is scheduled for release in March 2022.
This set emphasizes high-freedom "build and rebuild" play, featuring 603 pieces. Designed around the classic leather trunks used by Hogwarts students, the completed model measures approximately 17 cm long. Not only is its exterior visually stunning, but you can also use various colored tile bricks to represent the four iconic Hogwarts houses – Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw – or any custom color scheme you desire. The set even includes a key piece to simulate the unlocking experience, which is an absolutely brilliant design.
The interior is equally packed with surprises. First, LEGO provides three distinct scenes for you to build: the Sorting Ceremony, the Great Hall welcome feast, and a common room. The Sorting Hat, purple sofa, and fireplace are all excellent accessories and brick-built elements. The minifigures are a major draw this time; beyond Harry, Hermione, and Malfoy shown in the official images, you can use the abundant hair, head, and torso pieces to create various Hogwarts students with different appearances. This truly makes for a fascinating and highly replayable set!
