BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS, the renowned collector's toy division in Japan, has today released full details for the latest addition to its immensely popular "METAL BUILD" alloy toy series: the "Crossbone Gundam X-0 Full Cloth" from "Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam GHOST." This highly anticipated release is slated for June 2022.
The XM-X0 Crossbone Gundam X-0 Full Cloth represents the enhanced form of the Crossbone Gundam X-0, modified by the special unit "Snake's Leg" and equipped with the powerful "Full Cloth" armor. It is piloted by Captain Curtis Rothko. This formidable equipment was originally completed during the Jupiter War but was lost along with the X-0 for two decades before being recovered by Snake's Leg (the New Crossbone Vanguard). After extensive modifications, it was deployed in active combat. The Full Cloth armor boasts multiple thrusters, delivering explosive propulsion, and features I-Field generators on both shoulders, allowing it to contend with even the latest generation of mobile suits. While it possesses fewer ABC (Anti-Beam Coating) mantles compared to the X1, its silver anti-beam coating provides equivalent defensive capabilities.
The "METAL BUILD Crossbone Gundam X-0 Full Cloth" faithfully inherits the design aesthetics of previous Crossbone Gundam series mobile suits, complete with a core fighter separation gimmick. Its armor is meticulously rendered with various metallic silver finishes to represent the anti-beam coating, showcasing rich color gradients and high-density detailing. Numerous die-cast joint parts not only enhance its durability but also provide a satisfying heft during handling. With interchangeable parts, collectors can also reconfigure it into the standard Crossbone Gundam X-0.
The Full Cloth unit boasts intricate detailing both inside and out, and includes new articulation not found in the X1 version, allowing each mantle armor piece to unfurl dynamically like wings. Furthermore, the mantle armor can be freely detached and reconfigured to alter its silhouette. Four delayed-fuse high-thermal bullet guns can be stored inside the mantle, and various other armaments can be mounted on internal support arms!
The extensive arsenal includes many signature Crossbone series weapons, such as the transformable multi-purpose attack armament "Peacock," Butterfly Buster, Butterfly Buster B, Scissor Anchor, Skull Head Unit, Heat Dagger, Zanbuster (Beam Zanber / Buster Gun), Beam Saber, and more, enabling collectors to pose it in dynamic and flexible combat stances.
