Japan's MAX FACTORY (株式会社マックスファクトリー) is expanding its popular "figma" action figure line with a new release from the hit anime series "DATE A LIVE": the figma Yatogami Tohka! This highly anticipated figure is priced at 11,000 JPY and is slated for a December 2022 release.
Yatogami Tohka, a beloved female character from the "DATE A LIVE" light novel series penned by Koushi Tachibana, is a mysterious Spirit girl who appeared alongside a Spatial Quake. She initially had no name and lost all memories related to herself. After her first encounter with Shido on April 10th, she was named Tohka (a homophone for "tenth day" in Japanese). While she initially harbored strong caution towards humanity, her perception of the human world gradually changed after growing closer to Shido.
The figma Yatogami Tohka action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, faithfully recreating her magnificent and formidable Astral Dress: "Elohim Gibor" (Tenth Garment), complete with its distinctive purple armor and elegant gown. The figure features her flowing dark hair and luxurious metallic purple paintwork. She comes with three interchangeable face plates: a serious expression, a shouting expression for combat, and a blushing, shy expression. Accessories include her imposing greatsword, "Sandalphon," a light pink-purple translucent "slash effect" part, a right hand for holding the sword, and her beloved Kinako Bread, showcasing her adorable foodie side!
