US-based toy manufacturer NECA, in collaboration with Universal Monsters, is back today (June 22) to announce their third entry in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" crossover series. Following the release of "Frankenstein Raphael" and "Hunchback Igor-Leonardo," Michelangelo, or Mikey, makes his debut as The Mummy!
The newly revealed "Michelangelo as The Mummy" figure features his signature orange eye mask and protective guards on his limbs, all while being wrapped in tattered bandages across his entire body. Various parts of his body showcase dirty, weathered effects, giving him a truly ancient appearance. The head sculpt captures a lifeless yet animated stare, with a dry, parched look around the mouth, as if he's truly risen from the dust. A super cool detail is the sculpted scarab beetle on his belt buckle. Accessories include an alternate snarling head sculpt with wide, bulging eyes, a snake, bandages, and a unique weapon combining nunchaku with the Ankh, the Egyptian symbol of life. We eagerly await the full reveal!
