LEGO announced the results of the second 2021 review for its LEGO IDEAS platform yesterday (the 22nd). Out of 34 submissions, only two projects stood out and are confirmed for commercialization! These are the "A-frame Cabin" designed by Norton74 and the scene from the music video for the Korean group BTS's (Bangtan Sonyeondan) all-English hit song "Dynamite," created by JBBrickFanatic!
● A-FRAME CABIN
First up is the brick-built A-frame Cabin, featuring its iconic sloped roof. Norton74's design masterfully uses a rich array of brown bricks to recreate a realistic wood texture, complemented by gray elements for a rock-like base. With sand-colored short steps and a wooden door, the entire model perfectly captures the essence of a lakeside vacation retreat! According to the designer's backstory, brothers Dan and Ethan reside in this cabin. Seeking to escape the pressures of city life, they discovered this old wooden house in the forest, restored it together, and made it their home.
This A-frame Cabin isn't just meticulously detailed with brick-built windows, lights, a chimney, and a deer head decoration; it also includes surrounding elements like a small boat, firewood, sawing equipment, a basket, and potted plants, all contributing to a serene, laid-back atmosphere. Flipping the model around reveals its dollhouse-style construction, offering two playable floors for interior access. These include a living room, kitchen, and a second-floor bedroom, making it a truly exciting prospect.

Next up is the iconic scene from the "Dynamite" music video, faithfully recreating the prominent "DISCO" sign and the donut shop. However, what truly piques interest are likely the minifigure facial prints!
