Japanese toy manufacturer MEDICOM TOY is set to release a new Marvel Comics-inspired "Storm" figure, joining their popular 6-inch MAFEX action figure line in December 2022, adding another heavy-hitter to the X-Men roster.
Standing approximately 15 cm tall, this figure is designed based on Ororo Munroe's classic white costume from the comics. The vibrant, luxurious gold trim and the red-on-black X-Men logo on her cape clasp are meticulously recreated. According to the official website, the cape, which connects from her back to her wrists, is made of fabric to minimize interference with articulation. It includes three interchangeable head sculpts, all featuring her iconic white-eyed state. Accessories include two pairs of translucent lightning effect parts, which, when combined with a display stand, allow collectors to pose Storm mid-air as she unleashes her powers.
