After circulating online for some time and building anticipation among many toy enthusiasts, the LEGO Creator series "10298 Vespa 125" was finally announced last night (24th)! It is scheduled for release on March 1, 2022.
This set is meticulously crafted from a total of 1106 pieces. Once assembled, it measures an impressive 35 cm long and 22 cm high. As a product commemorating Vespa's 75th anniversary, its exterior faithfully recreates the classic, romantic lines and rich, vintage aesthetic that define the iconic scooter. The stud visibility has been largely minimized, giving it a sophisticated, adult-oriented collectible feel! The overall model features a light blue main color, one of the original production colors, while the two seats, spare tire bag, and handlebars are rendered in deep blue. Additional brick-built details include a helmet, a bouquet of flowers, a storage basket, and a 1960s Italian license plate. The side engine cover can also be removed to admire the internal structure. Combined with functional front-wheel steering and a movable kickstand, this model offers excellent display and playability even after completion!
