Good Smile Company's affordable "POP UP PARADE" series, known for its pre-painted figures, is adding Toge Inumaki from the popular "Jujutsu Kaisen" to its lineup. Following releases like Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, and Kento Nanami, the new "POP UP PARADE Toge Inumaki" PVC figure is set to debut! It will retail for 3,900 JPY (tax included) and is slated for a July 2022 release.
Toge Inumaki, a highly popular character in "Jujutsu Kaisen," is a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and a Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer. He is also one of the rare Cursed Speech users in the series. Due to the effects of his Cursed Speech, he cannot speak normally, instead communicating using rice ball ingredients like "salmon," "tuna," and "mentaiko." His distinctive high collar, which conceals his mouth, adds to his mysterious allure, captivating many fans.
Author Gege Akutami once publicly clarified Inumaki's unique vocabulary: "Salmon means yes, and Bonito Flakes means no! Beyond that, I'm not entirely sure myself."
The "POP UP PARADE Toge Inumaki" PVC figure stands approximately 170mm tall, faithfully recreating Inumaki's appearance from the anime. Every detail, from his mouth-concealing high collar to the intricate folds and shadow paintwork of his uniform, has been meticulously reproduced. Despite a simple pose with one hand in his pocket and the other adjusting his collar, his upward-slanted eyes convey an enigmatic and unpredictable aura. Additionally, the POP UP PARADE Panda figure is also being released concurrently!
