Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced new details for their latest collaboration product, "Mutsumi Koashi," joining their popular "Megami Device" plastic model kit series, which combines mecha and bishoujo body types. This new release is a collaboration with the video game "Alice Gear Aegis," with pre-orders scheduled to open on March 2nd.
The character being immortalized as a model kit is Mutsumi Koashi, a popular gamer from Narukozaka Manufacturing known for her prowess in fighting games. Kotobukiya has utilized a tall body type to perfectly capture her cool, "ice queen" aesthetic, faithfully reproducing the elegant bio-mechanical curves of her blue combat suit, "Still Kampfer." The kit comes with various interchangeable hand parts and three pre-painted face parts: a "Determined Face," a "Smiling Face," and a "Blushing Face."
The armaments for Mutsumi Koashi were supervised by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa, featuring adjustments such as a scaled-down sniper rifle and extended lower body armor, making her specialized gear look even more refined and striking in plastic model kit form. Her upper body equipment, "BergkatzeA2/T," can be rotated in multiple directions via articulated stands, while the lower body equipment, "BergkatzeA2/B," can replicate the deployed state of its side thrusters when skills are activated. Her arsenal includes the "Kirsch Jaeger A2" sniper rifle and the "Blast Strike" hammer, which accurately replicates its front metal hydraulic rod.
