To honor the profound contributions of British primatologist and anthropologist Dr. Jane Goodall to chimpanzee research and the world, LEGO created the 40530 "Jane Goodall Tribute" set. This special set was offered as a Gift With Purchase (GWP) in March 2022.
This set comprises 276 pieces, forming a mini-diorama complete with minifigures. It depicts Dr. Jane Goodall's life among chimpanzees in the African jungle, featuring three trees of varying heights with lush foliage, abundant flowers and plants, and a clear stream, all exuding a vibrant, natural atmosphere. The set includes a white-haired Jane Goodall minifigure, dressed in a grass-green shirt and sand-colored trousers, alongside three incredibly cute chimpanzee figures! A black display base with a "Dr. Jane Goodall" nameplate further enhances the thematic presentation.
The LEGO 40530 Jane Goodall Tribute was available as a free gift with qualifying purchases at authorized LEGO stores in various regions, including Taiwan, from March 3 to March 24, 2022, while supplies lasted. (For instance, in Taiwan, a minimum spend of NT$4,000 was required.)
(Please note: The 10298 Vespa 125 and 10299 Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium sets were excluded from this Gift With Purchase promotion.)
