Bandai's GASHAPON division is set to release a brand-new "Light-Up! Pokémon Collection" (光る！ポケモンコレクション) capsule toy series from the "Pokémon" franchise in the third week of March 2022. Each capsule will retail for ¥500.
This capsule toy format immediately brings to mind GASHAPON's popular "Godzilla HG D+" series, both featuring character figures paired with an assembly base made from the capsule shell. However, the "Light-Up! Pokémon Collection" takes things a step further by incorporating light-up parts into the base. This innovative addition dramatically enhances the visual impact of the Pokémon's attack effects, creating a more dynamic display. The collection includes three iconic Pokémon: Charizard (リザードン), Pikachu (ピカチュウ), and Gengar (ゲンガー). Each base is color-matched to its respective Pokémon, and Charizard's flamethrower effect, with its incredible gradient, looks absolutely stunning! It seems another must-have collection is here to tempt us all!
