Following the first release, the Garlic, Japanese toy company Megahouse is set to launch the second entry in its simpler and more engaging "Kaitai Puzzle Lite" series: the "Sea Urchin 3D Puzzle"! Priced at 990 JPY, it was scheduled for release in late May 2022.
Continuing the "Kaitai Puzzle Lite" (解体パズルLite) series, which offers a fun way to learn about food structures through puzzle-solving, these unique 3D puzzles feature simplified assembly parts, creating a deceptively simple yet subtly challenging experience.
The second entry, the "Kaitai Puzzle Lite 02: Sea Urchin 3D Puzzle," consists of 7 assembly parts. It faithfully recreates the sea urchin's spiky hard shell, revealing the five yellow gonad segments nestled inside once opened. The intricate details of the spines and granular textures are meticulously sculpted. Each segment features slight variations in shape, requiring a perfect fit for true completion!
