BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS is set to host a new product announcement event, "GUNDAM FIGURES LIVE," focusing on the "Gundam" series. The online showcase will take place on March 17, 2022, at 7:00 PM JST, revealing new completed Gundam figures slated for release within the year.
The online program will feature two prominent special guests who have contributed significantly to the Gundam franchise: Soichiro Hoshi, the voice actor for protagonist Kira Yamato in "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," and Seiji Mizushima, the animation director for "Mobile Suit Gundam 00."
Fans can also look forward to exciting new products from both "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" and "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," with several product silhouettes already revealed. Alongside the previously teased ROBOT魂 Strike Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," a mysterious silhouette has appeared, resembling the protagonist's mobile suit from "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," the Gundam Exia, but wielding a massive sword in its left hand. This never-before-seen configuration raises questions about its origins and whether it's a completely new design.
"GUNDAM FIGURES LIVE" will be broadcast on the official BANDAI SPIRITS YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zL2G5Oh-i6Y
