McFarlane Toys' popular "DC Multiverse" 12-inch resin statue series is expanding with new releases based on the film "The Batman." The lineup will include both The Riddler and Batman, each priced at a suggested retail of $41.99 USD, with an anticipated release in March 2022.
Directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, the 2022 film "The Batman" plunges into Bruce Wayne's second year as the Caped Crusader. Operating as a vigilante in the shadows, Batman becomes Gotham's embodiment of vengeance. His mission leads him to track down a serial killer targeting the city's elite—The Riddler. As Batman delves into the city's corrupt underworld, he encounters classic characters like Catwoman and The Penguin, gradually uncovering the dark heart of Gotham City.
The THE BATMAN 12″ POSED STATUE is meticulously crafted from cold-cast resin and hand-painted, standing approximately 12 inches (30.48 cm) tall. Based on the film's costume design, the statue captures Batman in his new Batsuit, holding a Batarang. The sculpt expertly highlights Robert Pattinson's distinctive jawline, visible beneath the cowl. Both the cowl and boots feature textured, glossy paint applications to mimic the look of leather, while his flowing cape adds to the figure's imposing presence. The statue comes with a brick-textured base, reminiscent of Gotham City rooftops, and a collectible art card, allowing fans to fully immerse themselves in the film's world.
