Hong Kong-based toy manufacturer Hot Toys, following the release of their Batman figure and Bat-Signal based on the new "The Batman" movie, has now unveiled their latest product from the film: the "Batcycle" 1/6 scale collectible vehicle! It is slated for release in Q2-Q3 2023.
Directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as the latest iteration of the Caped Crusader, the dark superhero film "The Batman" follows Bruce Wayne as he dons the cowl to become the fearsome vigilante, Batman. He fights crime in a Gotham City increasingly corrupted by crime, corruption, and collusion. In addition to the Riddler, classic Batman characters like Catwoman and Penguin also appear in the story.
This collectible measures approximately 19 cm tall and 42 cm long, meticulously recreating the new Batcycle's appearance based on its in-movie design. The entire vehicle features a metallic black paint finish, with silver accents on components such as the brake discs, exhaust pipes, chains, and shock absorbers. The striking bat-shaped windshield is also faithfully reproduced. For playability, it includes rotatable front and rear wheels, a steerable front section, and LED light-up functions for both headlights and taillights (USB power required). It comes with a dedicated display base that allows for both front and side display angles. Pair it with the separately sold Batman figure to recreate iconic movie scenes!
