BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division has announced the latest addition to their "Figure-rise Standard Amplified" series, which enhances character designs and model kit articulation. The new "Alphamon" from the "Digimon" franchise is slated for release in September 2022.
Alphamon, a formidable Holy Knight-type Ultimate Digimon, is a member of the "Royal Knights." Known as the "Hermit of Solitude" and "Master of the Empty Seat," he only appears during critical moments and is often considered a mythical being. Alphamon possesses the ultimate power to reverse battle time, unleashing devastating attacks in an instant. This immense strength also burdens him with the mission to maintain balance among the other Royal Knights.
The "Figure-rise Standard Amplified Alphamon" boasts black and gold armor with intricate color separation and part articulation. Its silhouette has been reinterpreted to be more robotic, featuring numerous new heat sinks, vents, and detailed armor panel lines.
Alphamon's back cape continues the style seen on previous releases like Gallantmon and Omegamon (X-Antibody), constructed from multiple thin PET sheets. For weaponry, the kit includes the clear "Sacred Sword Gradalpha" and effect parts for his signature move, "Digitalize of Soul."
