Chinese collectible figure studio Animal Planet, known for its original "Chubby Series," is back with its sixth installment, "Chubby Series 06: Crustaceans." Following popular releases like Geckos, Turtles, and Marine Life, this new set features eight regular figures plus a secret chase edition, with a suggested retail price of 138 RMB per figure, slated for release in June 2022.
The sixth wave, "Chubby Series 06: Crustaceans," continues the line's signature style, with sculptor Luobo (梦卜) serving as the lead prototype director. This collection adorably interprets underwater crustaceans with plump, rounded designs! The animals making their debut this time include the Boston Lobster, Shamefaced Crab, Chinese Mitten Crab, Blue Swimming Crab, Smooth Box Crab, Mantis Shrimp, Crayfish, Red-spotted Box Crab, and an unrevealed secret figure. Measuring approximately 60 to 90mm, these palm-sized figures boast realistic sculpting and finely detailed, glossy shell paintwork, all while maintaining their adorably contrasting plump physiques... they look absolutely delicious!
