Following their "Mira Suou" release, Japanese toy and figure manufacturer HAKOMUSU (Hakoirimusume) is back with the second entry in their "World's End Harem" series: a 1/6 scale figure of Akira Toudou. Priced at 16,980 JPY, the figure is slated for a November 2022 release.
Based on the popular manga "World's End Harem" (Shuumatsu no Harem), written by LINK and illustrated by Kotaro Shono, the story follows protagonist Reito Mizuhara. After undergoing five years of cryogenic sleep due to a rare disease called "Cellular Sclerosis," Reito awakens to a world ravaged by the "Male Killer Virus," leaving only five men alive globally. To ensure the future of humanity, Reito is tasked with the crucial responsibility of procreating with a multitude of women. The anime adaptation resumed broadcast in January 2022 after a review period.
Akira Toudou, who clinched the top spot in the original manga's female character popularity poll, is the volleyball team's ace. She excels in all sports and boasts exceptional physical prowess. Often misunderstood as cold due to her difficulty expressing emotions, Akira is, in fact, incredibly helpful and possesses a sweet, girlish side.
The Hakomusu "Akira Toudou" 1/6 scale figure masterfully sculpts the moment her athletic shorts ride up during a volleyball match. Standing approximately 20 cm tall, she's depicted in tight sportswear, leaning forward with one hand subtly pulling at her shorts in a provocative pose. This dynamic sculpt beautifully captures Akira's voluptuous physique and alluring body lines. Her shy expression and blushing cheeks add to the figure's overall charm, and with the scattered volleyballs, you can almost imagine the scent of her exertion. A signature feature of this series, the figure also boasts removable clothing, allowing collectors to display her partially or fully undressed, revealing her top and shorts (though the bra color might be a bit...). Enjoy the bold and daring sculpt to the fullest!
