Created by Japanese manga artist Akane Shimizu, "Cells at Work!" depicts the daily lives and functions of cells within the human body. The series ingeniously personifies cells to illustrate complex physiological processes in an engaging way. Its main characters include the Red Blood Cell, responsible for logistics; the White Blood Cell, who serves as a security officer; and the Platelets, who work together to seal wounds. This newly released White Blood Cell, also known as a leukocyte or neutrophil, is tasked with expelling harmful bacteria that invade the body. In the story, he's depicted as a security officer with a stark white uniform, white hair, and pale skin, with "U-1146 White Blood Cell" being the primary character.
Standing approximately 19 cm tall, the "POP UP PARADE White Blood Cell" faithfully recreates his signature look, featuring a greyish-white uniform and multiple daggers. Every detail has been meticulously reproduced, from the "White Blood Cell" kanji on his hat and the "O"-shaped sensor to his identification number "1146" and the bangs covering his right eye. Posed with a dagger in hand and his weight slightly lowered, his battle-ready stance looks incredibly cool! While the overall color palette is minimal, the figure masterfully captures the dynamic wrinkles in his uniform caused by his pose, with subtle shadow painting enhancing the three-dimensional depth throughout.
