American toy brand McFarlane Toys is expanding its popular "DC Multiverse" 12-inch resin statue series with new releases based on "The Batman" film. The line will include a Batman and a Riddler statue, each priced at $41.99, with an anticipated release in March 2022.
Directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, the new "The Batman" (2022) film follows Bruce Wayne's second year as the Caped Crusader, lurking in the shadows as a vigilante. To track down the serial killer targeting Gotham's elite – the Riddler – Batman delves into the city's underworld, encountering classic characters like Catwoman and Penguin, and gradually uncovers the dark heart of Gotham...
The THE RIDDLER 12″ POSED STATUE is meticulously crafted from cold-cast resin, faithfully recreating the Riddler's distinctive look from the film in approximately 30 cm (12 inches). Details include his military green trench coat, the rough-textured mask, the cling-wrapped head, and transparent glasses. The spray-painted question mark graffiti on his clothes is also accurately rendered. He holds the shovel used in his crimes, and the tape around his waist further highlights the serial killer's characteristics. The wooden floor base evokes the scene of his first crime, creating an unsettling atmosphere.
